Every Fall thousands of people visit the Farm to pick their own apples. During the Harvest we allow people to come into our orchards to pick their favorite apples the freshest way possible - right off the tree. Each apple variety ripens at a different time so each week a new variety may become available. Each year the harvest times may vary so check here or our Facebook page before you make a trip to see what we are currently picking.
To extend the shelf life of your apples it is advisable to refrigerate them immediately. For long term storage we keep our refrigeration room close to 32 degrees Fahrenheit. This is generally colder than most household refrigerators and while it is at, or close to freezing, the natural sugars in the apples lower their freezing point thereby keeping them from freezing and spoiling.
